Italian Artist's Journey - First Stop: Pompeii

庞贝是意大利南部的一个小城，位于那不勒斯西北方约25公里处。到了庞贝才知道什么是震撼，没有人可以抵挡生命本身的震撼。当你来到庞贝，你会清晰地看见多年前，这个繁华的古城市民正在做些什么，城里一切井然。你也能够想象，几乎是在毫无预示的情况下，怒气冲冲的维苏维火山爆发了！

Pompeii is a small town in southern Italy, located about 25 kilometers northwest of Naples. Only when you arrive in Pompeii do you realize the shocking power of life itself. When you come to Pompeii, you can clearly see what the citizens of this prosperous ancient city were doing years ago, and everything in the city was well-organized. You can also imagine that the furious eruption of Mount Vesuvius occurred almost without warning!

我们去到庞贝后，住在那不勒斯的一家酒店里。到那不勒斯后，首先参观了“公民投票广场”。“公民投票广场”是古罗马时代用来举行选举或议会会议的地方。广场中央是拿波里皇宫和保罗圣方济教堂，旁边还有著名的圣卡罗歌剧院。

After arriving in Pompeii, we stayed at a hotel in Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, we first visited the "Civic Voting Square." The "Civic Voting Square" was used for elections or parliamentary meetings during the Roman era. In the center of the square are the Naples Royal Palace and St. Paul's Basilica, and next to them is the famous San Carlo Opera House.

另外值得一提的是，我们在“公民投票广场”上还发现了美丽的温贝拖一世长廊。这个建筑非常漂亮，而且在不同季节会呈现出不同的颜色。

In addition, it is worth mentioning that we also discovered the beautiful Villa dei Misteri di Herculaneum on the "Civic Voting Square." This building is very beautiful and presents different colors in different seasons.
